You can vary not only with the salads, but also with the dressing. There is more than oil and vinegar or yoghurt as a base. How about avocado, for example?
In this salad sauce variant, avocado gives the salad a creamy touch and also gives its own taste with delicious wild flower honey.
- 1 half ripe avocado
- 2TB lemon juice
- 1EL Honey (we recommend our Honey-Schmidt Wild Flower Honey)
- Salt, pepper
- fresh herbs at will
- and a dash of water
Crush the avocado as finely as possible with a fork. Add the lemon juice, the wild flower honey and the water and mix well. Add spices and mix until a uniform consistency has formed and the honey is well dissolved.
