Bee Bread – also known as Perga or Ambrosia – is nothing more than fermented bee pollen, enriched naturally by the bees with traces of propolis, royal jelly, beeswax, and honey. Some call it a true all-rounder, as it contains a bit of every valuable substance produced by the bees.

What is pollen, also known as flower pollen? Pollen consists of the male reproductive cells of flowering plants, which bees transport to the female parts of blossoms. For bees, pollen is an essential food source and a vital nutrient carrier for raising their brood. Without pollen, a bee colony cannot renew itself.

For many of our long-standing customers, healthy bee bread has become part of their daily diet.

Our Bee Bread Tip:

In contrast to bee pollen, bee bread does not need to be dissolved before consumption. It can be eaten directly – for example, added to muesli, yogurt, or desserts. Adults should take about 2 g (14–15 granules), and children up to 12 years about 0.5 g (4–5 granules).

Ich habe einmal darüber gelesen wie gut das Bienenbrot fürs Immunsystem ist. Beim googlen bin ich dann auf die Seite von Honig Schmidt geraten und habe das Bienenbrot dort sofort bestellt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt und es hat mir gerade eben auch über eine Erkältung hinweggeholfen. Es ist bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal, dass ich bei Honig Schmidt bestelle!

Ich war sehr froh, Bienenbrot hier auf der Website von Honig Schmidt entdeckt zu haben. Ich liebe Bienenbrot als Snack zwischendurch. Einfach zum Tee oder einfach so esse ich die kleinen Köstlichkeiten. Manche sind etwas weicher, andere härter, und allesamt haben sie ein köstliches, lang anhaltendes Aroma. Tolle Zugabe zur Ernährung für aktive Menschen.
