Walnuts are easy to caramelize and are the icing on the cake on the salad, in the soup or in the muesli. So your food is a bit more refined!
- 100 grams of walnuts
- 50 ml water
- 2 tbsp honey (we recommend our strong-spicy Honig-Schmidt forest honey)
Crack the nuts and divide them into 2 halves. Heat the water and the honey together in a frying pan and bring the mixture to the boil over a medium heat. Once the honey is dissolved and the mixture starts to turn brown, add the nuts and turn in the mixture, stirring constantly.
When the nuts are completely wrapped, remove from the pan and let it cool on baking paper and let it dry. Separate the glued nuts with a fork. Already ready!
