Royal jelly is one of the most fascinating bee products. It is the special substance produced by worker bees to nourish the queen bee.

Our royal jelly powder is made from fresh royal jelly using a gentle freeze-drying process (lyophilization). During this process, the natural water content is removed without the use of high temperatures, resulting in a fine and highly concentrated powder.

Freeze-Dried (Lyophilized)

Freeze-drying is considered one of the gentlest methods of preserving natural products. The resulting powder offers improved storage stability and is easier to transport and store than fresh royal jelly.

While fresh royal jelly is typically kept refrigerated, royal jelly powder can be stored for extended periods under dry, cool and light-protected conditions.

As a general guideline:

1 g of royal jelly powder corresponds to approximately 3 g of fresh royal jelly.

Royal jelly powder is commonly used for further processing and individual formulations. A particularly popular application is mixing it with honey. As a guideline, many users add approximately 4–7 g of powder to 500 g of honey.
