Royal Jelly Powder – Freeze-Dried Royal Jelly in Concentrated Form

Royal jelly is one of the most well-known bee products and is produced by worker bees to nourish the queen bee. Our royal jelly powder is made from fresh royal jelly using a gentle freeze-drying process (lyophilization), during which the natural water content is removed without the use of high temperatures.

The result is a fine, pure powder that offers the characteristic properties of fresh royal jelly in a concentrated form. The removal of water also makes the product significantly easier to store and transport compared to fresh royal jelly.

Gently Freeze-Dried (Lyophilized)

Freeze-drying is considered one of the gentlest preservation methods for sensitive natural products. The royal jelly is not heated but carefully dried under controlled conditions.

As fresh royal jelly consists largely of water, freeze-drying results in a concentrated powder. As a general guideline:

1 g of royal jelly powder corresponds to approximately 3 g of fresh royal jelly.

The powder form offers excellent yield and convenient storage.

Versatile Use

Royal jelly powder is commonly used for further processing. A particularly popular application is mixing it with honey. As a guideline, many users add approximately 4–7 g of powder to 500 g of honey.

The fine powder is also suitable for individual formulations and custom recipes.
