Bee stings themselves are generally rather feared and so most people prefer to avoid the hardworking bees, unless they are the fearless beekeepers who win the delicious honey for us. However, there is a very special bee sting that few people can or want to get out of the way. We are, of course, talking about the incredibly tasty bakery, which bears the name Bee Stich.

The bee sting is usually a cake that fills an entire baking sheet and there are countless recipe variations for this treat. And that is why it is quite legitimate that one can bake the bee sting in the shape of a cake, some may call it muffin. The recipe for these tarts is simple and they are prepared quickly.

Ingredients:

  • 100 g sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 75 ml oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 g sour cream
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 50 g chopped almonds.

For the glaze:

  • 25 g honey (we recommend our acacia honey)
  • 75 ml whipped cream
  • 25 g sugar
  • 150 g almond pencils.

The filling:

  • 5 tbsp icing sugar
  • Cream cheese.

The preparation begins with the production of the glaze. For this, honey, whipped cream and sugar are heated in a saucepan. Let it simmer for a few minutes, then add the almonds. While the glaze cools, prepare the dough. To do this, first stir the sugar and eggs frothy and add the oil and sour cream. Finally, add flour, baking powder and almonds and mix everything thoroughly. The dough is then filled into muffin tins or a corresponding baking sheet. The whole thing can be baked for about 25 minutes at 180°. When the tarts have cooled, halve them and fill them with the cream cheese. Finished!

Have fun with the preparation and good appetite!
